Tricorona organizes workshop in London with PD-Forum and DOEs
On February 9th, Tricorona organized a workshop on the future of the Clean Development Mechanism together with the Project Developer Forum and UN-accredited certifiers.
The participants included members of the senior management of the UN, certifiers, investors and project developers. The topics ranged from new market-based mechanisms to alternative approaches to monitor and verify sustainable development and environmental integrity.
"This event is one milestone in a series to further fruitful interactions between professionals from the carbon market. Such outreach activities towards the UN, civil society, governments and research organizations on improved carbon accounting are key to sustained funding of climate change-related funding”, said Susanne Häfeli-Hestvik, Vice President and Director of Tricorona’s Technical Department.
