Tricorona’s origination team works hand-in-hand with local project owners and consultants in identifying CDM project opportunities and structuring agreements on cooperation.
The team evaluates the CDM feasibility (eligibility, additionality, applicability) and the potential of the project to generate Certified Emission Reductions (CERs). Our knowledge and expertise of the CDM allows us to take on projects at an early stage, and to manage the registration and issuance risk.
Tricorona purchases CERs from projects of all sizes, types and from all geographical regions. We offer forward contracts at fixed or flexible prices, or a combination of fixed and flexible prices, and commit to buying all CERs generated up to 2020 and beyond, assuring the project owner a guaranteed income stream.
As local presence and knowledge is crucial for successful project implementation, Tricorona maintains a network of local partners that work on the ground near the project sites. The project benefits from our highly qualified PDD writing, implementation, registration and issuance teams with their many years of experience of the CDM.
