Kaijianqiao 52.5 MW Hydro

Ganluo Kaijianqiao Hydropower Project, P.R.China is a run-of-river hydropower project on the downstream of Nirihe River which is a branch of Daduhe River. The powerhouse is located on the right bank of Nirihe River, where is 250 m from Kaijianqiao Bridge, and 21 km from Ganluo Town of Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity using hydro potential. Electricity generated by the proposed project will displace part of the electricity generated by Central China Power Grid which is dominated by fossil fuel-fired power plants, and thus greenhouse gas emission reductions could be achieved.
